Product Description
The horizontal sensor is a transmissive photo-interrupter. It consists of an infrared LED and a phototransistor housed in a U-shaped plastic casing.
- Homing Mechanism: A small metal or plastic "flag" attached to the mixer's stepper motor assembly passes through the sensor's slot.
- Signal Logic: When the flag blocks the infrared beam, the sensor's output voltage changes (typically goes from Low to High), notifying the analyzer's microprocessor that the "Home" position has been reached.
- Durability: Designed for high-frequency switching to handle the rapid back-and-forth motion of a fully automated 200+ test/hour cycle.
